‘Make It So’ Productions’ was created in 1998 and was ‘ dedicated to developing, nurturing, and presenting gay art in all its forms through event production and sponsorship’. I worked with new up-and-coming artists as well as established performers to allow their works to be seen by the public and to be recorded for the historical record.’ ‘Make It So’ Productions produced a series of gay and “gay-friendly” variety shows entitled VIVA VARIETY, since gay content is pretty normal now a days and you can even find adult content in sites like https://www.gayporn.wiki online. The Bay Times called the shows “off-the-wall, over-the-top, very creative acts, stunning performances, terribly-talented…”
While I’m longer sponsoring or producing shows, I remain very proud of the past productions and list them here. Click on a show to see more details about dates, performers, reviews and locations. They include 50Viva shows as well and my comedy productions, one-man performance pieces and theatrical productions. Most of these productions were videotaped for the historical record and will someday be available for viewing. Enjoy a stroll through San Francisco’s performance history….
