Danny has directed Doug Holsclaw’s “The Last Hairdresser” (Bay Area Critics winner for Best Actor, nominated for Best Director), “Desk Set” (Cable Car Award nomination), “The Stand-In”, “Twelfth Night”, “Up Jumped Springtime”; Shakespeare Santa Cruz productions of: “The Tempest”, “Midsummer’s Night Dream”, “Merchant of Venice”, “Taming of the Shrew”, and “Comedy of Errors”. He has also directed James Patrick Kennedy’s “Harvey Milk”, Holsclaw’s “Pete in Paradise” at Josie’s, and “Picnic” at the Marin Theatre Company.
Danny stars as a wigged-out regional theater director in this assault on “A Christmas Carol” and other “sacred” cows including Shakespeare. He and Dickens are summoned from the dead by Bev, a demented regional theatre director, to bring in the business with the old chestnut, “A Christmas Carol”. But Bev, loath to mount a shivering Tint Tim once again, has different ideas in mind and the end result is a lambasting of family values, classic fiction and Christmas itself. Think “All About Eve” on a non-stop steroid rage.
Liam Vincent
Liam has performed most recently in Marin Theatre Company’s “Bleacher Bums” and a four-month run in “Sheer Madness” at the Mason Street Theater. Originally from New York, his SF Bay Area theater credits include such hits as: “A Comedy of Errors”, “Much Ado About Nothing”, “Picnic”, “King Lear”,”The Tempest”, and “The Merry Wives of Windsor”.
Richard Ciccarone
Richard was last seen in the Fifth Floor Theatre’s production of “Dr. Faustus Lights the Lights” at Intersection for the Arts. He was awarded a Black Box Award from the San Francisco Weekly for his role as Sanity/Friendship in Mettle Theatre’s production of “Someguy” at Venue 9 in San Francisco.
